Meet Kristin

Hi! I'm Kristin and I have 2 Goldendoodles, Jake & Marty! 


I am so fortunate to work with dogs everyday, of all breeds and size! 

I help dogs learn to swim, gain confidence around water, have fun while losing a couple extra pounds, but mostly regain strength and stability after a surgery. 

I've always wanted a career working with animals but

I've always wanted a career working with animals but my heart could never take working in the veterinary field. So when I discovered canine hydrotherapy, I knew it was a career perfectly suited for me to give back to animals as much as they give to us!

The Facility

The Facility

HYDROSPAW is Edmonton's premier hydrotherapy facility. With an 8'x16', warm water pool and underwater camera for viewing, you will be able to track progress from session to session.


My pool is treated with the Mineraluxe system,  a unique fusion of natural minerals and salts to clean and clear debris and contaminants from the pool and infu

HYDROSPAW is Edmonton's premier hydrotherapy facility. With an 8'x16', warm water pool and underwater camera for viewing, you will be able to track progress from session to session.


My pool is treated with the Mineraluxe system,  a unique fusion of natural minerals and salts to clean and clear debris and contaminants from the pool and infused with conditioners. My sanitizer levels are maintained with Bromine, which is a pH neutral sanitizer, and gentler than chlorine. 

What to Expect!

Let's Get Started!

  • Download and complete Vet Release form.
  • Veterinarian form MUST be completed and signed so we can work together with your vet and ensure there are no contraindications for hydrotherapy.
  • Book online to schedule your 1st appointment!

Arriving at HYDROSPAW

  • Parking is available on the driveway.
  • Go to the right side gate for entry to the facility area.
  • Please arrive a few minutes early, there is an area in the backyard that dogs can relieve themselves before the session. Bags are available if needed.
  • Always ensure your dog is on a leash at all times.
  • Please ensure area is clear of other dogs before bringing yours into the facility, or keep out of range of encounter

Around the Facility

  • Upon arrival we will discuss goals, lesson plans and fit your dog for the lifejacket.
  • Treats, toys and encouragement will be used during our swim, if they have a favorite treat or toy, please feel free to bring it along!
  • The area around the pool can get wet, ensure that you have appropriate clothing and footwear for around the pool.
  • Please bring your own towels, a dryer for the dogs is provided for use on site.
  • Do not leave dog unattended in the facility.

Cancellation Policy

I really appreciate your business and each swim session is privately reserved for your safety, and so that full attention is devoted to you. Due to the nature of the business and limited availability, cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call or reschedule with as much notice as possible so any unnecessary costs are avoided, and the appointment can be used by another dog in need.
